Ark Dance Academy is an exciting new dance studio in Grande Prairie. We focus on the Dancer as a whole – Mind, Body, and Soul, providing exceptional dance instruction, mindfulness and achievement of the dancer both in and out of the studio.

About Ark Dance Academy

Located within the City of Grande Prairie, Ark Dance Academy is a comprehensive dance facility within the Peace Country region. We currently have 3 studios and offer numerous options for students from ages 2 years to adult. 

To ensure classes are suitable for all who attend we offer a vast range of styles, age groups and technical abilities. Whether you are finally ready to give dance a try, looking to stay active or aiming for a professional career, we have a class for you. 

The teachers at Ark Dance Academy have a vast range of experience in all disciplines. Our collaborative approach is to share our love of dance while being supportive and encouraging.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a space of genuine acceptance through respect, knowledge, kindness, love and perseverance. We have witnessed first-hand how dance can build character, confidence and friendships that transition into successes in life. This beautiful, enriching sport is an incredible tool to teach body awareness, self-discipline and teamwork, among other life skills. Through our service of teaching dance, we strive to provide exceptional coaching and leadership while instilling the importance of etiquette, self-esteem and positive body image.

Our Mission

At Ark Dance Academy, our mission is to create dancers that are well rounded inside and outside the studio. We promote an inclusive studio with a focus on community, growing and developing in body, mind and soul through a life-long love of dance.

When teaching any style or age group, we strive to provide exceptional leadership to our students, building talent and developing life skills such as discipline and respect. As we believe a person never stops learning, we work hard to ensure our approach extends to all our students, from children to adults. We’d love you to be a part of our studio and join our mission to positively reach our community through dance.
